The UE4 source package requires that Visual Studio 2017 and Unreal Engine 4 be installed on your computer. A HTC Vive is not required to edit the source, build it and even run it but there are no alternative movement and grab controls so a HTC Vive will be needed to do anything useful in the game. Simply unpack and execute the package to be able to edit, build and run the software.
